Does the badge update by itself?

The badge reads the current imported directory record each time an image is requested. Ratings only change when a new source capture is imported, so the badge is not a live Google feed.

Where will the badge work?

Anywhere external SVG images are allowed. Some email clients block remote images and SVG, so check how it renders before relying on it in a signature.

What if the details are wrong?

Open the linked profile and submit a correction with a public reference. Reviewed changes appear on the profile and in the badge.
